My new addiction: Super Charge!
Yes, it’s true. I do have a new addiction.
I’m addicted to Labrada’s new energy-boosting, focus-enhancing, fat-burning product, appropriately called Super Charge! (No, I’m not getting carried away with the “!” – it’s part of the name.)
I just ran out today and am eagerly awaiting my order to come in. Seriously, I kind of freaked out and thought “what am I going to do” when I used my last serving this morning.
This is not a product review in that I’m not going to go over all the ingredients, what they do, and then give you the scoop on the product.
Rather, I’m just sharing my thoughts… and my current thought is “when will Santa, dressed at the UPS man, bring me my damn Super Charge!?”
I’m a bit of an “insider” at Labrada, so I got to try a prototype of the product last January, long before it was released. As soon as I finished my sample batch (which I went through rather quickly), I called up the head of Research & Development at Labrada and told him that his latest creation ROCKED!
Because I’m quite knowledgeable about sports supplementation, I also had quite a few questions about the product, its ingredients, mechanism of action, and most importantly, when could I get some more!
I wasn’t a bit surprised that there was some serious science behind Super Charge! I already knew it “felt” good, but now I knew that it wasn’t just another caffeinated product disguising itself as something high-tech.
No matter how much I begged and pleaded, I couldn’t talk them into sending me another prototype batch. So I had to wait (for what seemed like an eternity) until it was released to the general public.
What do other people think?
When my training partner and I went to the Olympia, we went by the Labrada booth so he could score some Super Charge! samples. Nick normally doesn’t feel much of anything from pre-workout supplements. But he said he did get a good energy boost from Super Charge!
He also kept mentioning how good it tasted. “The orange flavor tastes sort-of like Tang,” he said.
I could not care less how something tastes; if it works I’ll choke it down. But he’s right, it does taste damn good! (For the record, I like the grape even better.)
A while back I let one of my clients try a couple of servings. She still uses it to this day.
My Ritual
So, for the last few months I wake up and throw a scoop of Super Charge! in a shaker bottle (along with one tbs of Brain Fat), add some water, then shake, sip, and repeat.
The Cons
OK, Super Charge! is NOT perfect. It has two flaws in my opinion.
It’s not super easy to dissolve Super Charge! in water. To remedy this I mix it with water that is very slightly warm. Then, once dissolved, I add ice.
The other flaw is that the full serving is a bit too stimulating, but that’s just my opinion. So I guess that’s not really a flaw, per se. I simply use one scoop instead of the “super intense” two scoop serving. If I’m feeling really tired I get a bit wild ‘n crazy and do a scoop and 1/4.
Economical Energy
Another cool thing about Super Charge! is that it’s MUCH cheaper than any energy drink that I know of. BodyBuilding.com has Super Charge! for just $39. That’s CHEAP when you realize that there are 50 one-scoop servings in the container.
In Closing
I initially sat down at the computer to type a paragraph or two telling you about Super Charge. I sure didn’t mean for it to end up being so long winded. But as my fellow writers know, sometimes it just pours out.
Let me shorten all the psycho babble I just typed by simply saying… “I like Super Charge. When you’re up for trying a new energy-boosting supplement, give it a shot. You may like it too.”
Geez… why didn’t I just say that about 1,000 words ago!
Yours in health,
Dr Clay
