		<description>The primary carbohydrate in milk is lactose which is essentially a simple carb.  However, the glycemic index is actually quite low.  But just when everything seems to make sense... the insulin index is rather high.  I&#039;ll talk more about that at a later date.  

Long story short, I would not consume milk because it&#039;s a good source of carbs, but it is a good source of protein.</description>
