As a coach I always hope for 2 things when a client enters a competition: 1) for them to look their best ev
er 2) for them to get the placing they deserve.
When I evaluated Robin’s physique Saturday morning prior to pre-judging at the NPC USA Figure Championship, it was apparent that we had managed to accomplish goal number 1 — she looked her absolute best ever! Unfortunately however, I don’t think my 2nd wish was granted. Regardless, Robin did fantastic and should be very proud!
I was really expecting her to finish somewhere between 12th and 15th, which would have been an incredible accomplishment competing among 44 of the best female figure physiques in the country. However, it’s also hard to stand out among so many incredible physiques, so she ended up not placing in the top 15.
Although she would never bring it up, I think it’s extra impressive that, although Robin is eligible to compete in the Masters division, she prefers instead to simply go up against the best physiques in the country… regardless of age. Talk about not making excuses!
Regardless of her placing , Robin is (understandably ) popular among fitness photographers, so she ended up doing multiple photo shoots over the weekend with some very good photographers. I will do my best to try to talk her into sharing some of the pics with us once she gets them.
Great job, Robin! Your “coach” is very proud of you!

Awww! Thanks, Coach! I couldn’t have done it without you! Well, maybe I could have, but it wouldn’t have been as good.
You’re the best!
Robin
Helping you was my pleasure, Robin!
I’m looking forward to helping you for your upcoming shows as well. We’re gonna put your new “best physique” in the past with an even more improved Robin!
Cheers!

I’m proud, that’s for sure! Although I feel I did a good job
– my part was easy. Robin did all the hard work…makes me look like I know what I’m doin’.
