Congrats on the final book! Info cleared up a few things i had doubts on and reinforced my own ideas on nutrition/training. Also the recipes are kick ass man! I constructed a cycle based on step 6 & the rapid fat loss plan. Ill give it a couple of weeks and let you know how it goes!

I’ve been told before that I’m good at explaining things via analogies – I think it’s because that’s how I teach MYSELF complicated stuff! I dumb it down so my “good-ol-boy brain” can understand what my “dr nerd brain” is trying to say. Wait… does that mean I have multiple personalities? Hmmm…. but I digress.

As a high school physical educator, I am constantly looking for new resources to gain knowledge from or for resources from which I can derive learning experiences for my students. “Set Your Metabolism on Fire” will certainly serve as a resource for both the former and the latter. The impact of instructional materials on classroom learning is significant and has been shown to be an essential tool for teachers in today’s classrooms. California has Content Standards for physical education, which tell us what knowledge and skills students must master. However, the State Board of Education does not adopt instructional materials for physical education. SYMOF will be one of the instructional materials that I incorporate into my classroom (or gym if you will) this coming school year. The way you have broken down the content is clear and concise enough for the beginner, but it is also rich with information to help everyone achieve his or her health and fitness goals. Thank you very much for your generosity in putting this free resource out there. I WILL most definitely be spreading the word to my students and my fellow professionals.

Thanks Dr Clay for this book. I can’t wait to start putting the macro nutrient diet into practice. BTW, would you recommend increased calories for larger males? I am looking to lose weight but I am 6’4″ and wonder if the one diet fits all, would apply?

Your business plan will work with people like me. I’m hooked now, and much more likely to buy the next one now that I know you are the real deal
Now that you have the basic parameters of your system outlined I really think that a good next step would be to present more meal plans. I skimmed ahead and saw some in this one already which is great. People who are fairly new (like me) to eating healthy have a problem creating diverse but healthy meal plans. I’d buy a good recipe/meal plan book in a heartbeat that worked within the parameters you set forth here. I have a young son (2 years old) and a daughter on the way. I’d love to get them started eating right from the beginning.
