Building a Back like a Bodybuilder

“Saying you’re going to train your back is like saying you’re going to train your front. You gotta’ get more specific if you want to progress.”

Just in case you don’t go to T-Nation.com (a.k.a. Tmuscle.com) every day like so many people do, I just wanted to let you know that my latest article was just published yesterday.

The article is about advanced back training and how you should section your back into different areas for best results.  the article is called Building a Bodybuilder Back.

Practically everyone considers the back to be one body part, yet the reality is that the back is functionally more like three different body parts or muscle groups.

Another point that I tried to drive home in the article is that exercises like Lat Pulldowns can be totally different if you change your grip width, torso angle, hand orientation, etc.

For more information about the different lat pulldown variations, watch this lat pulldown video.

Now, go check out the article.  And if you do, please do me a favor and take a moment to rate the article at the bottom of the page.  I’m sure you will find it worthy of a 5 star rating. :-)

One more thing, if you have the time, check out the discussion after the article.  (Simply click the “discussion” link at the bottom of the article’s page.)  I try my best to answer each and every question, so you’ll often find LOTS of additional information in the discussion thread.

Likewise, you may occasionally be entertained by the random (delusional) Internet expert who’s passing through to tell everyone how smart he is and how dumb everyone else is.

Enjoy!
