Question: Within the last week I’ve noticed a pop in my left elbow during tricep exercises. It only pops during the downward motion(when the elbow is bending). I wouldn’t be worried if it was a normal pop but this one feels weird but still there is no pain. So my question is, why is it popping and how can I stop it?
Answer: Elbow popping is typically due to a subluxated radius, which
pops where the head of the radius articulates with the ulna up near the elbow.
To get it fixed, visit a chiropractor who specializes in extremity adjusting. To help narrow the search you could look for the initials CCEP after their name.
Hope that helps.

I to have suffered from ebow popping on my right arm only (I am right handed), it typically happens during push ups when bending reaches 90 degrees.
It seems to be more pronounced when under load, but if you put your finger on the inner part of the elbow you can feel the popping. It feels like a snapping of the muscle. There is no pain associated with the popping, but it does limit my push ups due to feeling weaker.
From my research I found that it could be ulnar nerve dislocation or snapping triceps syndrome. I have not been able find much on how to tell the difference or on treatment options. What I typically have found refers to surgery to relocate the ulnar nerve so that it can not pop in and out of the cubital tunnel.
Currently the only thing that I am doing is limiting my range of motion on excercises that seem to aggrevate the popping. I also have read that it could be from my sleeping paterns, I do sleep with my elbow bent in a 90 degree angle. I have read that inmobilizing the elbow in the extended position may help relieve the syptoms. I am trying to make sure I sleep with my arms extended not bent, but am looking for a brace to insure that I can’t while asleep.
I would like to avoid surgery, so any strengthing or training that could help would be a God sent.
