Quit Being So Damned Optimistic!
Contrary to the title of this post, I’m all about being optimistic. In fact, I could even be described as very optimistic myself.
So you can imagine my surprise when I read a recent study that shows that optimism may actually be a hindrance to your weight loss efforts! My initial thought was “these researchers have lost their minds… and they MUST be pessimists!” (Come to think of it, was I being pessimistic by thinking that? Hmmm…)

Time for me to get up from this stupid computer… my back is hurting. Although I shouldn’t be in a rush to leave, because it’s cloudy and raining anyway — stupid weather!
