Happy Thanksgiving my Friends!

For those of us in the U.S. of A., it’s Thanksgiving – and I want to wish you a very happy one!CranberryStuffing

If you happen to still have some cooking to do, check out this Healthy Cranberry Stuffing recipe – it’s great!  I had it last year and am going to again today.

After your main course, you’re probably going to want to have dessert, but it’d be far better for you if it were a more healthy option.  But let’s be real, during a Thanksgiving day feast, taste is usually more important to us than the caloric content and macronutrient profile.  You can have the best of both world’s with this Low-fat Starbuck’s Pumpkin Pound Cake Recipe is awesome!  As with the cranberry stuffing above, I had these last year and am going to again.

And for an even lower-calorie dessert option, check out the Weight Watcher’s Strawberry Pie recipe that I posted yesterday.  It’s really low in calories yet packs a lot of sweetness, which is how I like my desserts.  And in case you’re wondering, yes, I’m having that again today, too! :)

Don’t forget to take a moment to stop and smell the roses so-t0-speak.  You and I both have a lot to be thankful for – no doubt.

One of the things I’m thankful for is to be able to use my knowledge and passion to help others, like yourself, achieve their health & fitness goals.  It’s truly a blessing!

And with that, I’m out.  Time to watch some more football and eat a healthy, but delicious turkey day meal.

Be blessed.

Dr Clay
