Why I Like Walking and Short Hair

Here’s my latest video blog.  Today I talk about why I absolutely LOVE walking and why I also like (not love, but really like:) short hair. And if all goes as planned, this video is in HD, Baby, YEAH! That way you can see how my nostrils appear exceedingly large…or maybe they are?

Oh, I also discuss how I like to make cardio FUN (yes I said fun!). And I’ll tell you about the latest couple of books I’ve read and am reading.

    Dr. Clay,

I have an X-Vest that I occasionally use when doing “Bodyweight” Movements, but I never really employed it with walking. Do you think it would be worthwhile to add it into my walks at some point? Nothing Crazy, maybe 5 pounds to start moving up to 10 lbs max……………………basically something to bump things up a notch but without turning what should be a low-level and lesiurely activity into a brutal trek?

Thanks for the audiobook suggestions. I’m still in the phase where I can’t seem to shake walking without any tunes or audiobooks (for some reason listening to the surrounding environment is one of the few things that calms me completely), since the ambient noise seems to put me in a great frame of mind and let me clear my head completely. I may have to give the audiobook during walks a fair chance though!

Awesome podcast. Got a lil’ dizzy though & had to look away. Haha.
Looks like a great park you got there, NICE HILL for some walking/sprints. I don’t have anything like
that here in SW Fl. Sucks.

Also, the short hair looks damn good. I prefer medium length.
    Thanks Doc, keep em’ coming.
    Really enjoy the site.
